Dynamics and clickTocall

Hello,
The problem has been reported several times, but no response so far.
How to make clickToCall 3CX (v15.5) work in Microsoft Dynamics 365 instead of Skype?
The default application settings on my computer are binary in 3cx for voip calls.
I installed the 3cx plugin for Chrome too.
It works on the web, but not on Dynamics.

Hello @cbr9sang,

This is due to your Dynamics configuration. Click to call is provided via the browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox:

These extensions work updating the web page, changing anything that is considered a phone number to a click to call link. However, in your case Dynamics is rendering the web page with click to call links for Skype. That's why the extension can't change them to 3CX links.

The only solution in this case is changing the Dynamics configuration to render phone numbers as plain text, instead of Skype links. You might need to contact Microsoft support for help with this.
