Enable Fuzzy Search Across All Main Contact Lists (Web, Desktop & Mobile)

Hello 3CX Team and Community,

I would like to propose a significant user experience enhancement for the contact search feature, which would benefit the entire 3CX user base.

Currently, the main contact search in the Web Client, Desktop App, and Mobile App primarily operates on a prefix-based system. This requires users to know and type the exact beginning of a contact's name to get a result.

However, a much more intuitive and powerful "fuzzy search" functionality already exists within the "Team" section of the mobile app. There, we can find colleagues by typing any part of their name—first, last, or even a middle portion—which is incredibly fast and flexible.

My suggestion is to make this superior fuzzy search the standard for the main contact list across all platforms (Web Client, Desktop App, and Mobile App).

Why this would be a major improvement for all users:

• A More Modern & Intuitive Experience: Users today expect flexible search functionality. Aligning with this modern standard would make the 3CX experience feel more natural and user-friendly for everyone.
• Increased Day-to-Day Efficiency: It is very common to only remember a person's last name, a part of their company name, or a fragment of their full name. A fuzzy search would eliminate friction and make finding the right contact significantly faster in daily operations.
• Consistent User Experience: Implementing the same powerful search logic across all sections and clients creates a more seamless, predictable, and enjoyable user journey.

We are confident that this is not just a minor tweak, but a fundamental quality-of-life improvement that would be highly valued and appreciated by the global 3CX community.
