Exit to Linux OS before doing First-time Configuration

I am new to 3cx PBX. I have installed the Debian version. But I was not given a chance by the installation process to set static IP. I would like to change Dynamically assigned IP to a static one before I do the configuration from browser. How can I exit to the Debian Linux shell so that I can do it through the OS command line since I know Linux well?

I would be grateful if anyone could let know the trick to exit to the OS.

You will be invited to set a static IP during the web setup. Don't worry, this is not something that cannot be changed, it is accessible under Settings -> Network once you have set it up.

I have tried Control C. It does not work...

OK. I found a way to do it. Just use SSH to get into the OS. I set up a static IP. It works well now!

Hi,

If you meant static IP on the ethernet interface, suring the Linux setup part (when using our ISO) you will see the installer attempting to autoconfigure via DHCP and you can hit cancel at that point and set your static IP.

The one Frederic was referring to was the Public IP that the PBX will use, and can be set from the management console or during the 3CX Web configuration wizard.
