We have moved to the next phase of the integration between Odoo and 3CX so now we want to sync the call logs from the 3CX to Odoo. We are using the Call Journalling option in the 3CX Template that is working great for contacts that are already in Odoo, but the issue that we have now is with calls where the contact is not in the CRM system still(first time calls, etc), since current implementation of 3CX as documentation explains will export the log to the CRM only if the contact is found in the CRM. Do you have any suggestions how we can export this call logs from the system to Odoo as well?

One more thing, we want to implement an option that will change user status directly from Odoo so is there an option in the 3CX API that provides such update?

This is because calls should be mapped to the agent that receives the call, and the calling contact. So, if you don't have the calling contact, it makes no sense to register the call... If you enable the automatic contact creation, when the caller is not found, it will be automatically created, and the call registered as well.

The only way to do this from the client machine is via 3CXPhone for Windows. If you execute the program "C:\ProgramData\3CXPhone for Windows\PhoneApp\CallTriggerCmd.exe", you have the following options:
C:\ProgramData\3CXPhone for Windows\PhoneApp> .\CallTriggerCmd.exe --help
--cmd=VALUE1:VALUE2 Deprecated make call command. Please specify
destination as second parameter. Example '-cmd
makecall:123'
-c, --call=VALUE Make a call to specified destination
-v, --videocall=VALUE Make a video call to specified destination
--dial=VALUE Copy a number to dialer
-d, --drop=VALUE Drop a call with specified call id
--show=VALUE Show a specific view
--hold=VALUE Hold a call with specified call id
--resume=VALUE Resume a call with specified call id
--mute=VALUE Mute/unmute a call with specified call id
--queue=VALUE Login/Logout from queue
--dtmf=VALUE1/VALUE2 Send DTMF codes to specific call id
--listen Listen to events after finishing jobs
--activate=VALUE Activate a call with specified call id
--vactivate=VALUE Activate a call with specified call id with video
-h, --help Show this help
-b, --blind=VALUE1/VALUE2 Blind transfer selected call to destination
-a, --attended=VALUE1/VALUE2
Begin attended transfer selected call to
destination
--cancel=VALUE Stop attended transfer for call id
-t, --transfer=VALUE Finalize attended transfer for call id
-p, --profiles Show list of all available user profiles
--set-active-profile=VALUE
Set active profile
--set-profile-status=VALUE1/VALUE2
Set profile status
-l, --list Show list of active calls

That will affect the extension configured for that 3CXPhone for Windows instance.

We still have the agent and the phone number, so having the call journal without contact in the system is still very helpful information, so I hope in the next version the system will start sending this logs as well to the CRM.

About the second part with the contact creation, what is the name that the 3CX will send for that contact if it is not in the 3CX system as well? Because creating a contact without a name in the CRM is not possible and not wanted behaviour.

I thought will be any API request that can do the update, this will not work for us.

You define this in your template. In the templates we provide, there is a configuration parameter for this, so you can define a default name for new contacts. This can have variables, so you can include the caller number.

No, unfortunately there is no API to do this.
