we have a case in which we have installed the 3CX server in a main office with 5 Grandstream GXP 2000 IP Phones , and we have 6 branches and we need to put one Grandstream GXP 2000 Ip phone at each branch to be connected and registered on the 3CX server at the main office which have a static IP .

But the remote Hard phones does not work ?? what is the problem and what should we do with that ? and what about outbound proxy??

1. You need to "publish" your internal address of 3CX server at external IP of you firewall. Port 5060. Use STUN on you 3cx box. Dont forget to open all ports on firewall for outgoing traffic (not incoming!!!). Or you may open only necessary ports as stated in 3cx manual.
2. You need to connect you phones to external IP of you office (firewall). Use SIP server address parameter in phone configuration.
3. Use SNUN on your phones.

Thats all.

we have done all that , the soft phone is working but the hardphone doesn't register

SIP Transport: UDP
Use RFC3581 Symmetric Routing: Yes
NAT Traversal (STUN): Yes

this you need for external device

if this is already done you have to take a closer look to your firewall or router port forwarding.

if you want i can give u a account on our server for testing. this way you can insure that phones and their network settings are ok.

the best way to solve problems is to identify the source of problem.
