External Ringer Device

Anyone using any sort of external ringer device with an IP phone? We currently use the Yealink T42S and our maintenance crew can't hear the phone ringing because the shop noise is so loud and they are asking for device they can connect to the phone that will ring louder. I checked with Yealink but they do not make any such device. I see some things on the internet but would like to see if anyone else is using something like this successfully.

You do not mention how many phones are out there... if multiple, this could get pricey. But basically, these would be another device on the same extension and ring when the IP Phone rings.

Thanks Craig. We have around 150 analog phones in the warehouse but in the maintenance cage they have an IP phone as they frequency make outbound calls and receive calls in order to fix equipment. Since their shop sits out in the open, no walls, it's hard to hear the phone. If this ext. rings over the page horn it would cause confusion. So for this one phone I'm looking for some external device that rings louder. Too bad I couldn't bump up the ringer voltage, 220, 221, whatever it takes ;-)

So get one of these guys and put it near the phone and just set the volume to what you need.
Or perhaps open a phone and hook a bell up to the speaker somehow. Lol.

Thanks everyone.I saw the Algo devices before posting but wasn't 100% sure if they would work correctly with the 3cx system. Hoping someone had a working solution in place.

With the Algo to work as a ringer you put in the IP of the PBX, the extension number, authentication ID and password and it will ring while the paired extension ring. You can pick the ring tone and volume.

You can set the volume super loud so be careful. it can actually damage your hearing. There is even a warning when logging onto the Algo devices internal web page.

Works great with 3CX and supports POE.

Sweet, this is what I needed to hear. As of lately, because I'm over budget, if I went to mgmt. saying I'd like to test a $300 dollar device I would probably lose my hearing but knowing the above is easy to setup and will more than likely work, I might get away with just a black-eye.
