Facebook messenger setup

I've gone through the setup but I'm a little confused. I could never successfully send a message from my personal FB account to the company FB page and have it show up in a 3cx webclient. And so when it came to the part where I'm supposed to record a video, I can't record a successful demo. It was so much easier a few versions back but I guess that's facebooks fault for changing that.

Am I supposed to be able to successfully send a message before they formally grant the pages_messaging permissions?

I deleted my app and trying to start from scratch but I can't get past the webhooks.

I'm getting a permissions error. But incidentally when I go back to Messenger>Messenger API Settings>Configure Webhooks, it loos like I have 5 out of 6... messaging_pre_checkouts is missing and when I click Manage, pre checkouts is not an option.

And so even though this is effectively the last step required before I should be able to successfully test. well it seems that permission is required and I don't know how to get it. My test fails at this point.

And for what it's worth when I try to add subscriptions again, even if the only one that I choose is "messages", I still get the "webhook subscription failed due to permissions"

The permission request was rejected because my video could not demonstrate that I was able to send and receive messages through facebook to 3cx.

It would be helpful if you all would take some time to update your guide. It's very dated. The steps are not quite the same, you can kind of follow along but it needs an update.

I agree with @ZenMasta . I managed to muddle through the dated instructions but am now stuck on recording the video. How can I demonstrate the messaging when it is not yet approved? Some clarification is here is needed please 3cx?
