Good Afternoon,

I'm relatively new to 3CX and I'm having trouble getting video to work between the Fanvil i30 door phone I purchased and the 3cx client.

When I use the Android client all I get is a black window after I enable Video, when I use the Windows client enabling video doesn't appear to do anything.

Additionally I'm having trouble searching for threads about the i30 due to the forums search length restriction, is there a work around for searching short strings on the forum so I can find information on the PA2, i20s/i30 and such devices without doing a search for only 'Fanvil' ?

Agree! Very hard to find any information on door phones and configuration of these to work successfully with 3CX.
Trying to install an i31S and told only a few top-of-the-range Yealink's work (tested on a T58a - but couldn't get the firmware to be compatible with 3CX - even though was the Yealink T58 3CX firmware :/ )

Video capability from either Android or ios app to allow video and remote activation of door strikers etc. would be ideal.
The current set up is not a saleable option to clients. It only basically works as an expensive phone.

Nathan I'm waiting on a T5 phone to come in so I can test with it, Didn't realize my T49G which can do video wasn't a supported phone until I tried to add it.

I found a blog post showing what I want to achieve should be possible https://www.3cx.com/blog/voip-howto/door-phone/

I've seen this blog post and refers to the Fanvil door phone How to configure Fanvil I series for 3CX.
Unfortunately this does not show how to configure the devices to configure for video or view video feeds.

The blog post also says that the video can be viewed through the Web Client
"Visitors can simply press the speed-dial button assigned to your extension and you will receive a video call via the Web Client UI. Answer the call to welcome the visitor and use an optional remote controller to open the door. You can even forward calls to your mobile phone, giving you instant access to who’s at your doorstep even when you’re not there."
However this does not seem to work either and the video is black?
Audio works fine.

Seems like I'm going to have to return devices as we can't seem to get video from door phone to work on any of our desk phones, mobile phones via 3CX App, Windows Client or Chrome Web App (including browser extension).
The only method we've been able to view video is using RTSP, which isn't a suitable option.

Is there any config etc. that I have missed when setting this up?

Running on a cloud VM, does this need an SBC to run?
Currently using on:
Fanvil i31S Firmware 2.6.0.6681
3CX Phone System - Enterprise Version 16.0.4.493

They don't work together because Fanvil doorbell only supports H.264 and the Android 3CX doesn't.
