We have installed the i62 video intercom and an X6U-v2 handset on a site, the intercom works fine but can't get the video to transmit.

The system is hosted on 3CX and both devices are configured using SIP STUN. Is this why the video is not transmitting? Does local LAN need to be used? Can't really find that much literature online for the video. I've seen a youtube video where the user enabled H.264 codecs but that option isn't available (as far as I can see) on the X6U-v2s. Both Firmwares are up to date and not flagged in 3CX portal.

Hi,

Avoid using STUN. Either use LAN or use SBC if the devices are remote.

I have this same issue.

Fanvil i62 door phone and X6U-V2 handset. The audio works fine but I can't get the video to appear on the phone.

My system is all local, nothing hosted. Running V18 update 17.

I've been trying to get this working for days but I'm not getting anywhere.

Did you manage to get this working?

No, we have installed a stand alone PC as an SBC server and still no joy.

Now using SBC and still no video traffic, only audio.

After speaking to Fanvil they have confirmed that the X6U-V2 doesn't support the h.264 video codec which is why it isn't working.

Supposedly it works ok with X6U-V1, but I don't have one to test that.

I can also confirm that. The V2 phone does not have the video codecs page like you see above on the V1.

Their next model that has video from the newer generation is the V65, have checked it using an i63 and we see video normally over SBC.
