Hi to everyone,
i have a problem, i have the "http preview" setting enable in Camera Settings on a Fanvil i63 and im trying to understand the URL on wich i can see this preview but in the i63 documentation i can't find this format and online i did't see one instance of this topic being discussed, so im wondering if im not understanding this fuction's purpose or i just simply didn't find the format of the URL, can someone help me?

Hi,

This is not a 3CX related feature, so we would recommend to contact Fanvil support for more info.

Fanvil has their own built in preview protocols to work directly with their phones (again not a 3CX related or configurable feature).

To get the camera URL you can go to

ESG Access > Video

and grab the URLs under the RTSP information.

Hi, i saw that, and i tried but what i really wanted it's not the RTSP wich, from my undestanding, it's for the direct streaming video of the camera, i just need the URL that gives me the preview like a photo a frame in real time, the device this Fanvil i63 is replacing used to have this on a simple URL like "http://[IP-ADDRESS]/api/camera/snapshot?width=320&height=240&", i was asking if there is something similar or the exact same feature wich is what the http preview sounds like.

No idea what you're even trying to do, if you want a webcam, buy a webcam.

I got a script in html that needs this URL im trying to figure out to stream the video ; now i can't just put a RTSP sicne browsers alone are not compatible with this request, you need something similar to a VLC open a network bundle and use the RTSP URL, now i don't really want to get a Webserver to put this RTSP URL and than do a PHP request to get a stream, i just need to understand the format of this URL put it in the HTML file and there i go, a real time photo of waht the device i seeing, it's been working since 7 years ago with an older model i don't understand how a newer one can't, or maybe it can and i just need to know this URL format, if youknow please tell me if you don't than thx anyway for the help, have a nice day man.
