Solved Fanvil X3U New Firmware Makes Font Black

Hello,
We've installed a lot of new Fanvil X3U phones for a customer at a new site. Upon startup the phones are discovered with firmware version 2.2.3, and provision as expected. At this time everything appears okay, with the time and date font set to white, which works well against the flat black background of the 3CX logo. The phone tab on the 3CX system web portal then alerts me that firmware version 2.4.12 is available. After the firmware is updated to said version the date and time font are set to black and the date and time can no longer be seen on the phone's idle screen. I am able to login to the phones directly and change the color, but this adds unnecessary time to the installation labor. Please correct this.

Hello,

Our guide recommends that you upgrade the firmware before you provision the phone.

Now the phone may be misconfigured, so please factory reset it and reprovision it after the firmware upgrade was completed.

This should make the font white again and should appear correctly when using the the default 3CX logo.

And make sure the customer is running the latest version of 3CX. V16 does not contain this fix.
