Fanvil X5 Phone Issue

The majority (95%) of these customers do not use the webclient but I'm assuming that when the phone is provisioned to the 3CX that uacsta connections still occur regardless of the client using the webclient or not.

3CX may be able to confirm that or not?

You are correct, uaCSTA is used for the communication of the phones to the PBX regardless if the web client is used or not.

I'm sure Fanvil will be in touch soon to provide you with new Fanvil firmwares for release as they have requested the results of our testing.

An update on this, this has been fixed in the latest FW version. Please update your phones via the Management Console and you should be OK.
