fax and stun

I've just installed the 3CX phone system and must say I am very impressed so far, especially for free software.
However, in the server log I am getting some messages that I am not sure of the cause:
Every 10 minutes there is a message about a fax user, but as far as I know I didn't set up one:

Anybody know where this fax user is coming from ?

Also, there is a message about not having a STUN server set up
09:26:49.193 StunClient::loadStunList [CM306002]: There is no valid STUN server specified! External IP can not be resolved.

In fact I have a static IP and so don't need a STUN server - is there a way to enter the static IP and turn off the STUN server section ?

This is normal behavior. See technical manual. This is virtual fax extension.

Thanks for quick reply about the fax. So I can see this is built in, but why does it unregister and register every 10 minutes. Is there a way to stop this or to stop it cluttering up the log ?

Just stop and configure to manual start the 3CX FAX service in Windows
These log messages are very helpful to ensure that FAX service in 3CX really works and can receive faxes. So that is good idea to "heartbeat" fax presence.

It is not really a virtual fax. You really need a hardware gateway from Patton to let it work. As far as I know there' s no one who has the fax thing running only virtually. Read the manual or this Forum about the subject

Of course, you need ANY gateway with T.38 support. Not only Patton. I use cheap Dlink 4 FXO gateway. It costs about 250$

Can I use the linksys spa3102 for fax as that is what I am using for my fxo gateway.
Also, if a receive a call how do I direct it to the fax extension - I tried dialling 88 from one of my IP phones but it didnt work - it looks like it tried to dial out my voip gateway with number 88 instead:

I believe that the Fax doesn't work in the free version

FAX is not work in free version of course.
