Solved Fax Server

Hi All,

I have been searching and may have overlooked but how many faxes can the 3CX fax server extension receive at one time? Is it one per inbound rule or do they accept multiple calls?

I.E. I have a inbound rule set for faxes to 205-555-1234 send to 888 and 205-555-1235 send faxes to ext 100.

Can it receive one per rule or multiple? I wanted to see so that if used we don't end up with too many faxes at once.

Seems fairly easy to test no? But the answer would be 1 or the SC/trunk limit. And it's not 1

Thanks, I didn't have a way to test at the time but have since. Sent a fax from two locations to a DID and it is receiving both.


I was hoping that if the extension didn't have receive multiple calls enabled it would do the same for faxes but will just have to monitor how many faxes they get and add call paths as needed.

Yeah I just did a quick call from the webclient and desktop app to 888. I was pretty sure there was no limit but since you asked, I had to check.

AFAIK there is nothing limited in 3CX outside of SC. G729 licenses used to be limited to half of the SC but that is the only thing I ever remember having a limit besides 1 or SC/trunk limit.
