Great. We had one customer with T54W and they couldn't use the headset with the previous router phone capable firmware. Glad to see this is corrected. This is a key phone for them so I really want it to be its own sbc and not rely on anything else.

We will test the Fanvil fix, we have a customer with lots of X4Uv2 that want to use some as router mode but had this issue of disconnect not reconnecting.

It would be great to get new Firmware updates for other Fanvil and Yealink phones, that aren't router phones. Both Fanvil and Yealink have much newer firmware versions out.

The blog post mentions manually updating each brand. Will it be distributed through 3CX? I'm not seeing any phones needing updates yet but also have not updated any server to update 8.

We are seeing the firmware updates in admin console after updating to final 8.

Please upgrade your system to V18 Update 8 and you will see all the latest firmware.

Your system might download it automatically before you have a chance to see it, so go to your phones page and see if any phones appear in red.

You can then go ahead and upgrade those phones.

Got it. I am pretty sure in the past I’ve seen fw updates without/before a version upgrade, but it doesn’t really matter. I was mostly questioning the blog post which implies a manual update is needed, as those are the only directions.
