Firmware Upgrades for Snom phones

Hello 3cx team,
some months ago I already asked when we get new firmware for the Snom D785.

The provided firmware 10.1.37.11 is old and full of bugs which have been fixed with 39 and currently the newerst firmware from snom is 10.1.42.14.

Besides the software support I expect regular firmware updates. We do not have time to manually upgrade 70 extensions, add the option to deploy custom firmware via 3cx or add the firmware!

The manufacturer is working on new firmware for 3CX, they will need to test the firmware before they deliver it to us. I don't have an ETA yet at the moment but we will push it out fast when its ready

thanks for the reply. You get customized firmware for the 3cx directly from Snom?

Ok didn't know that. Then I ask them in the future.

Hi,

no, we do not use custom builds (or we try not to) but we wait until the vendor (in this case snom) runs a comprehensive test plan and then submits this to us. Once this is done 3CX IOT Team will review and on approval releases the firmware.

3CX may contact the vendor and reports on behalf of our customer's issues and works with them to address those. Other then this, it is the vendors call to start a new firmware submission. As far as I am aware, there is currently a submission in progress.
