if a call forward to external voip line
can caller id forward with it?

Hi

This is not possible to do. the PABX will be acting as a relay for the call and thus the number you call will show the CSID of the line used by the PABX to call out.

You can try to post as a feature request, however using somelses CID needs to be allowed by the telco and i have never seen that.

I realize this is an old post but wanted to follow up for anyone else searching this topic.

On a SIP trunk, if you want to preserve the external caller ID on a call that fowards out go to the Outbound Parameters tab of your SIP trunk and change the fields "Remote Party ID - Calling Party: Display Name" and "Remote Party ID - Calling Party: User Part" from the default to "OriginatorCallerID"
