FQDN key binding "Domain Suffix '3cx.us' Exhausted"

After following the procedure to upgrade a production system with 32 SC from a trial license we hit a huge wall. Since the FQDN are bound to licenses as per https://www.3cx.com/docs/fqdn-management-allocation/ we needed to release the FQDN from the trial key before we could restore from backup. Upon restoration and after release of the key, the FQDN gave us the following ''Domain Suffix '3cx.us' Exhausted".

We need immediate support to solve this FQDN issue that we do not have control over as this is a production system that serving over 65 extensions.

Hello @Platonik,

Please note that the correct procedure to upgrade a licence key is to upgrade the key already installed in the system without needing to un-install and re-install. Unfortunately there is no way to re-claim that FQDN and you will need to choose a different one.
The phones will need to be re-provisioned if they were provisioned as remote extensions using the 3cx.us FQDN.
