Good Day,

One of our overseas offices has a 3CX license purchased prior to our aquisition of that company. It's in a (company).3cx.eu FQDN format. We're making some changes to our infrastructure and may need to change the public IP Address which will require edits to the (company).3cx.eu DNS record, which we do not control. How can this be done?

Thanks.

Hello @Shadragon

Please note that FQDN management for 3CX FQDN provided FQDNs is done by 3CX assuming that your maintenance is active. That means that if a IP change is detected the DNS will be updated accordingly.
To detect an IP change however the PBX must be set to Dynamic IP. If the PBX is set to static then it will not check for IP changes. If the IP is set to static then you can navigate to Settings / Network and set the option "External IP Configuration" to "Dynamic Public IP (IP changes)" and restart the PBX services. Once the DNS has been updated you can switch back to Static.
