Hi,

I have bit of pickle. We have installed and set v20 3cx server as Virtual Machine on-premise with active subscription prepaid for 1 year, but on the portal, it does not show our FQDN XXXXX.3cx.co.nz

How can this be fixed? Who can help?

We had trial License that expired and disappear from My System so we purchased new license, then tried to update license on the installation with the subscribed one, first it did not worked, but once I disconnected new license from the FQDN on 3cx portal, then it as accepted and now showing correct. But the FQDN that is the server set with is not showing on the portal and we can't use it at this moment.

Any advise who can help with that?

1. What exact version of 3CX v20 are you using?
2. Try refreshing the license in System > License > the little arrows top-right of the first section. Tell us if you get an error.

Hi,
we have on-premise installation v20 - 20.0.10.1716
Did your point 2 -> refreshed License -> still shows Green Valid, no error code

FQDN should point to our IP 202.160.60.92 but not sure who manages this DNS link.....or how portal knows the correct FQDN

If i understand correctly you first installed and the you released the FQDN therefore it will not show the FQDN.
Try to restart the 3CX Services first and check again.

Yes, we installed with Trial key, did all the setup. Then it took too long and meanwhile the Trial key expired and disappeared from 3cx portal (My Systems). We couldn't not buy subscription for that kay anymore so we purchased new, set with same FQDN. Server was still fully set with the Trial key and same FQDN. It did not accepted change to the new subscribed key, therefore we disconnected FQDN on 3CX portal from the subscribed key and then server accepted this new key.

Now server says - License = Valid
3cx portal -> My Systems -> under this license there is no FQDN

Trying to avoid do all the job all over again.

So I tried now to restart 3cx server and YES, this worked.

Thank you TheodorsG for this hint, simple as that :)

Maybe someone will experience the same and this post will help.

Now need to get internet provider to sort firewall restrictions they have in place :(
