Hi;
I am planning to implement the 3CX for my company soon, and we are using PRI and the Analog (legacy phone line from Telco), the analog line is for backup purpose, in the event of PRI failure, we can still dial out through analog line for emergency call, such as 911.
Here is my question #1, my understanding is that in order to use the 3CX with analog line, I need FXO type gateway, is it correct? The FXO port on the device will be connected to our phone jack with regular phone cord, RJ12 and the LAN port on FXO device is connecting to my LAN.
Question #2, what will be the inbound rule looks like if the phone number provided by Telco is 10 digits, such as 416-123-4567, and we accept any call from any number to this 416 number, no matter it is long distance or local calls. I read the setup doc but I am new to 3CX, so I need more information.
Please let me know if you can help. Thanks!
