FXS Gateway Experiences

Hello,

We have a few opportunities to deploy 3CX hosted at client sites where Analog is the majority handset because of xyz factors. Common theme for Hotels, Housing Authorities, Camp Grounds. In testing we used a Yeastar TA1600 and had success. I am curious to other HW solutions and what folks would recommend. I am a fan of the Patton solutions, anyone out their use the SN4740 gateway before?

Regarding your question, the Patton FXS gateways are supported remotely but only via a 3cx SBC to connect them to a 3cx hosted instance.

Hello, thanks for the quick response. I do not see the reference devices as options when dropping down. It is a very short list not in our favor.

The section you require is under the management console > Advanced > FXS/DECT, to add in FXS gateways.

Nice, with that being an 8 station that does provide a HW challenge. One scenario we have seen up well past 50, 70 analog extensions. We are exploring bigger units with 48 port + compacity. Manually configuring the TA1600 I was able to get phones to register and operate.
Any exposure to the bigger gateways not listed?
