gDrive broken - so how about my Failover

Since gDrive is no longer a valid solution for backups, no alternative has been posted yet for the failover setup of 3CX. I currently have a system hosted in both Paris & Frankfurt for redundancy, waiting for disaster!

Hi Tommie,

Step 3 says "..select Google Drive as the location type, or specify other backup options" i.e such as FTP and even local disk (if you have your own mechanism to copy files between machines).

With update 4 those options will expand to SMB/SFTP. We also expect buckets to become an option later on.

Right now I am rsync-ing a local folder to the second machine. However, since this is not 'supported' I will not be granted support and this I why am wating for whatever will be supported!

The backup folder can be anything you choose from the management console, and local is supported so that should be fine actually.
