Good morning,

We noticed one of our 3CX system that get rarely used we weren't able to connect to. We started investigating, when we logged into our google cloud account it said the trail time was over, so we went ahead and updated the billing so they can charge us. we went looking for the VM and notice it was gone, is this normal that google deletes it or am i looking in the wrong place? I am looking under VM Instances. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Victor,

If it was hosted in your own GCP account, this is best something to lookup with Google Cloud documentation.

If you waited too long after the trial, yes, it might get deleted since you're not paying for the resources you're using.

So if i created in google what are the chances if will find a backup since it was doing cloud backups

Check where you stored your backups, either Google Buckets or SFTP.

Depends, if you were saving the backups on the same machine they are probably gone.

If you were saving them in a 3rd location like a private FTP then they will still be there.
