Google Drive backup

Hi,

I am met with the following message when tryign to authorise google drive inside the remote archiving feature for recordings.

Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app
This app has not yet been verified by Google in order to use Google Sign in.

Does anyone have a workaround?

To update, I have tried;

1. Clearing cache/running in an incognito window
2. Testing on another installation of 3cx
3. Trying different google drive accounts

I have the same issue since today.

Currently Google suddenly thinks 3CX is bad and not to be trusted. Google is always right?

Anyways, worked like a charm for 5 weeks, so I think this is something between Google and 3CX.

My question turns to if I have a Cloud hosted 3CX and I need to move a client from the current hosting provider to Azure but current backups are going to Google Drive and I can restore from Google Drive on the new host, what is the best way to restore or move data from one cloud host to another?

Hi Business54. You can move any 3CX installation by following the very simple backup & restore documentation. Backup, release FQDN, spin new vm, install, restore, done.

Hi @business54

As @Tommie Pit said above, minus the releasing the FQDN. This is not necessary.

So you just create a full backup then, download it off the existing machine, then power that machine down. Then you create your new instance in Azure, and during setup you must pick the option to install using a backup for restoration. Upload your backup via the wizard, and as soon as the setup completes you should be fine. Google Drive is not even needed to carry out this procedure.

Thank you all, migrated the customer to Azure over the weekend and changed FQDN without issue. I did change backups to use FTP via ExaVault and it has worked great so far....until we get Google Buckets up and running.
