I factory reset a phone to get it setup for remote stun usage, and it wont take the default password.

Any clues? I tried:

admin

Hi Chaz,

By default it should be admin admin, this is for the web interface though.

If on the other hand you are referring to the user/pass that is requested on the screen of the phone after you set it up as STUN, then you need to type the following:

Username: the extension number you assigned this too i.e 100
Password: the Voicemail PIN number of the extension.

Thanks I was trying to log into the phone to set up the FQdn to provision the phone remotely, Or would it be best to take it to the land to register it first

It is entirely unnecessary to log in to the phone UI if you will use STUN.

Just factory reset the phone from the menus, and it will come up asking for user/pass like I described.

Once you enter the extension/pin it will automatically provision itself within a few moments and you will see your extension registering successfully.

Important: once you register the phone, check your PBX "Updates" page for any firmware updates and download them. Then, go to the "Phones" page and if any phones appear red (with a outdated firmware warning) just select them, and then press the "Firmware+" button on the top of the page to send them the updates
