Grandstream 3000 series paging speakers.

All,

Wanted to get a show of hands and see who has been able to connect up the 3000 series speakers to a hosted 3cx system with local SBC and get multicast paging to work. We are looking to roll out a physical paging solution for a client and wanted to see if people had gotten the new devices working in the 3cx environment.

Hi @will.terrell multicast paging will work only for local phones, meaning these are in the same PBX LAN.

If your pbx is hosted by 3cx, then you can not use multicast, you would need to use the paging group.

Ah understood, I will configure them that way. Still was hoping to see what the success rate of deploying the 3506 and 3516 devices was from community memebers.
