Grandstream 400x/4024 provisioning

Hi,

I tested provisioning for grandstream ata and what bothers me is that unused ports can`t be disabled, e.g. 4008 model, i am having 4 users, I configured 4 ports and the last 4 can`t be disabled, i must put some extension on that ports... I can put some dummy extension on that ports which will not be in use? is there any other smarter solutions?

Hi,

The smartest and the only solution is to create an extension for each and every port that your FXS has. Even if that port is not used for the moment. If they are not used, this will not affect in anyway your PBX and if you want to use them in the future this will be very easy for you.
