Hi,
I have been trying to add a Grandstream GWX4104 for sometime now without any success I think that that the prroblem could be associated with the provisioning file path which is somehow taking the FQDN as shown 3cx.vcxtechnologies.net:5000/provisioning/xxxxxxxxx how can this be converted to take in the local IP address of the 3CX machine xxx.xx.xxx.xxx:5000/provisioning/xxxxxxxxx as I have tried so many times to add this Gateway without any success even though I have followed the instructions over and over again without any success

I think now 3CX will not generate a cfg file for GWX4104. You can setup the gateway on 3CX SIP trunk page than manage the GWX4104 manually from the GWX4104 web management console.

Hello @rsatj

The fact that you are only seeing an FQDN instead of IP there indicates that the PBX was configured with split DNS configuration.
To remove this configuration, the PBX will have to be reinstalled from backup and the gateway configuration recreated.
Alternatively, if the local network configuration allows it, add this FQDN in the local DNS and set it to point to the local IP of the PBX.

Hi @AndreasPo_3CX It has been sometime since I posted this as I have had better luck with a Patton SN4114 maybe I will revist this again sometime later on

Also as a side note in case it was missed, this button needs to be pressed before you tell the device to provision itself:

Otherwise the config file will not exist and the device will not be able to access the configuration.
