Yes if you set it to No that will disable the * features on the Grandstream. Back when I was playing with intercom I couldn't get it to work without setting this to No. My guess is the 3CX *9 was conflicting with a *9 Grandstream code. I don't know what the * keys are for the Grandstream (I may have a list somewhere), but you might be able to work around them since you can define the star key code for the intercom in 3CX.craigw said:SWB said:Make sure you disabled the Grandstream star codes. In the Account tab, Enable Call Features - set to No. Update and Reboot.
A question for you, SWB: If I set Enable Call Features to No does that disable all the * features on the Grandstream phone? If it does that is not what I want because in our environment we use the *72 and *73 regularly.

Well not really anymore. We connect outside phones directly to our server with enabling STUN. Some people could connect without issue, others couldn't. But I fault that to network structure, firewalls, etc. and what the device is going through to reach our server. But we are at the point now where the ones who use the phones outside haven't experienced any problems recently (knock on wood). Before I was getting issues and problems sent to me regularly. Maybe the new 3CX builds have isolated problemsPhilco said:SWB, what problems do you have with outside GXPs. They seem to work just as well as internal extensions.
