I am configuring a new 3CX Startup Free PBX. When Out of Officehours callers should be redirected to a voicemail. The voicemail should have a custom greeting. The message from the caller should be delivered as a audio file in a mailbox. Is this possible?

Things I tried:
- Redirect callers to the group voicemail. The message is delivered to a mailbox. But how can I customize the greeting?
- Redirect callers to the voicemailbox of a dummy user. I can record a custom greeting. The audio file is not delivered to the mailbox. Only a notification that there is a new message.

Is there a way to acomplish this?

Hi @ENVODI

Currently no, but it we have some future plans to improve on this.

An alternative suggestion: setup an IVR with a timeout of 1 second, and then send it to the voicemail of the group.

You can put a custom greeting on the IVR, something like "Sorry, we are away now, we will connect you to our voicemail".

Then, after 1 second, they will hear the usual voicemail greeting, and finally when they leave a voicemail, all the team members will receive the attachment.

Ah I just posted a thread about this. Same issue - using the Free Hosted version. I do not get IVR's. So right now, I am using the RG Voicemail to atleast get the attachment. But would like the custom greeting as well.
