To get this out of the way first, I understand that this is probably a networking issue rather than a 3cx or handset issue but I'm struggling to find a solution on the network side, so maybe there's something I'm overlooking on the 3CX side I haven't thought of.
The issue I am facing is that many of our clients that have 3CX systems also have a backup 4G internet connection for when their primary internet fails over, so normally our sites look like the below:
Bridged Modem & 4G Modem ---> Sophos XG or Unifi USG ---> Rest of the network.
The 4g failover is working as intended, the primary connection goes down and all traffic including 3cx is routed out the 4g, the issue is once the primary internet comes back online all traffic EXCEPT 3cx reverts to the primary connection, I have had times where after a full week I have had to physically unplug the 4g backup to force the traffic out of the primary connection.
This issue occurs on both the USG & the XG Firewall when set to "Serve new connections through restored gateway", even with customized weights, when set to "Serve all connections through the restored gateway" this issue doesn't occur but it drops any active calls when the primary connnection comes back online.
Any help or guidance with this issue is greatly appreciated.

- Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? Hosted with GCP
- IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware: Yealink T48s latest 3cx firmware, occurs with T42s latest firmware too.
- Provisioning Method: Local / VPN / STUN / SBC: STUN
- Trunk Provider or Gateway Make/Model
- Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
- Are custom Phone Templates being used: YES
