3CX Version: Version 20.0 Update 6 (Build 724 Release)
Recently- We've been having some issues with clients getting sent .wav files that are unplayable via email.
I've attempted to move these emails and .wav files to known good PCs with several different softwares that should be able to play .wav files, I've also redelivered these emails via our email gateways to no success.
We've been able to successfully fix this issue with restarts on the 3CX server- but are looking for a better solution for this company- as we do not want the client losing voicemail (restarting the server does not fix the previously sent .wav files).
Is anyone aware of a service running on self hosted installs that is responsible for this? It should be noted, when informed of this issue, I have remoted into the self hosted server and confirm all 3CX Services are running as expected.
We could setup a RMM script to preform a nightly reboot on this machine- but I am trying to understand the root of WHY this might be happening- It certainly appears to be a rare phenomena, as its not happening on any of our other v20 3CX setups.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated-
