Hello,

I've noticed that the Headset-Integration for Jabra headsets is missing in the webclient. I use the version 16.0.1581 of the 3cx.
That means, I can't accept calls with my acceptance button on my jabra headset.

I contacted the german 3cx support who told me that jabra doesn't support web calling.
Then I called Jabra and a support specialist explained to me that it is possible to use the buttons on the headset for web calling.
3cx just needs to implent the Jabra Web-SDK in order to make it work.
Here are the links for the SDK:
https://developer.jabra.com/site/global/sdks/web/index.gsp
https://github.com/gnaudio/jabra-browser-integration/blob/master/README.md

I would be very happy if 3cx will look into this and implent Jabra for the Headset-Integration.

Excuse me for my english.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Alex

bump, I would like to hear a feedback if this will be implemented or not. Otherwise we can't use our Jabra headsets productevly

Hi Alex,

Just out of curiosity, have you already gone to your Webclient and under General settings?

At the bottom there is a section for headset integration and when you select "Jabra" it will ask you to get the Jabra extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/jabra-browser-integration/okpeabepajdgiepelmhkfhkjlhhmofma

Also make sure (if you haven't already) to install the latest version of Jabra Direct, or alternatively use the one we have linked here for the desktop client https://www.3cx.com/docs/jabra-headsets/

Does this help in your case?

Hello thank you for the response,

Yes, I have checked the settings and it does not show me Jabra.
I also have the newest Jabra Direct version and the chrome extension installed (double checked this).

Hi Alex,

What type of license do you currently have on your system?

Hi John,
The standard version, we plan to upgrade to pro. But first we wanted to do a "test" phase.

Ok, so the Standard version only supports Sennheiser

If I am not mistaken, 3cx in general officially only supports Sennheiser. See here: https://www.3cx.com/support/ under "supported Headsets".
I didn't know there was an exclusive support for jabra headsets when I last time checked the license comparison list.

Hi,

This is intended, please note that they are not officially supported in the webclient but are included in the Pro/Ent version as a best-effort to help commercial customers that may need to use those brands. Sennheiser is the only officially supported brand.
