Is there a way to integrate our NMS tool (Nagios) with 3CX to monitor metrics like phone registration, recording space, etc. I have a client who often has all their phones de-register now and then and it would useful to be able alert on such events.

Hello @Gavin Hill,

Notifications can be sent (via email) from the Management Console. There are a number of events to select from, including extension registration change, and recording quota.

To select the events that are sent, navigate to the Management Console >> Settings >> Email >> Notifications >> Events.

To enable notifications for the recordings quota - Management Console >> Recordings >> Quota. Here you have the option to select in which quota percentage the email will be sent.

Thanks for that response. It's very hard for machines to parse notification e-mails though, I was wondering if there was a more reliable and simple method to integrate the 3CX platform with a traditional NMS (via syslog, SNMP, etc.)

It is possible to get some countstates like active calls or active extensions on shell level? If yes we can install a nagios client and write some checks on our own.
