I'm having trouble configuring a SIP trunk between 3CX 15.5 (free license) and a mitel 3300. I've followed
donbru01 instructions in configuring the mitel side and created a generic SIP trunk on the 3CX side.
1)From the mitel, I'm able to call to the 3CX via the sip trunk (set call to drop on a specified ext No on 3CX). please confirm if it is possible to call any 3cx ext number directly or dropping the mitel to an existing number /ring group number being the only way
2)From the 3CX side to the mitel side, the call does not go through if I do not specify an existing sip ext from the mitel side. Using a defined mitel ext to authenticate, the call goes through, however I'm limited to a 1:1 call.If I make 2 3CX exts call on 2 different mitel exts, only the 2nd one will be active, 1st one will be put on hold.
Please confirm if this is the right way in configuring the sip trunking.
Searching through the 3CX forums, it is mentioned that the other workaround is to use Bridge mode, but in my case, it does not seem to work. anyone can plz confirm if this is still feasible with v15.5.thanks
