Good morning guys,
I'm trying to configure the phone in object to work with my 3CX 15.5 install and I'm having a hard time...
As I understand it I should make a custom template to make the phone work because it is not officially supported by the templates included in 3CX...
Has anybody got this phone to work and can give me a few tips? or somebody can teach me how to make a custom template? I looked at the official guides and they are... vague... let's say at least on this argument...
Any help is appreciated...

Fabio

Thread can be closed I got it to work on my own... it was a fierce fight but I ruled the phone XD

Glad to see that issue has been resolved. Can you share with the forum what the solution was so other people might benefit in the future?
Thank you

Ok so the solution was a bit twisted and I don't really know if I can make myself clear on this XD

So the first step is to configure the phone as this link states:

https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/linksys-spa-921/

After that you configure the extension as you normally would but you need to create a custom template for the phone to be correctly registered.

I'm uploading the custom template I made myself... cannot grant it's total functionality because the way I built it is very wrong probably... but it works so :)

Basically I took an old template for this model of phones and a new template copied from my current 3CX installation...
I took the cisco spa525g2 one and modded it with the after "CDATA" statements from the old template.
I removed the blf fied because my phone does not have blf feature and 3CX kept saying there was something wrong in that section so I removed it with no particular drawbacks or problems.

careful to coherency of extension numbers ip addresses and passwords and it's a smooth sailing ;)
