Please help!!!!
I'am unable to log in to 3cx console.
It said my id/password is wrong (which is not).
Before it happen, i got weird things happen like the number of caller is stuck, even no body use the lines it said you have reach maximum allowance. After that i restarted the system and when i try to log in back it say my id/password is not working.
Any suggestion?

Thank you in advance.

Here is the reply from another thread that was about the same thing from LeonidasG:

The password username should remain unchanged.

Please generate support backup from the Backup and restore tool by doing the following:
Start > Programs > 3CX Phonesystem > 3CX Backup > Generate Support info.

Send that file to [email protected] and i'll PM you your password.

If you run out of things to try, (hopefully you have created a backup of 3CX recently), you could remove 3CX and then reinstall. Then apply the backup. 3CX should not be changing your password, and you should be able to sift through a backup to come across it.

Hi Lejor,

I do back up beforehand, but the thing is i can not interrupt the system since my company depend heavily on this.

Thank you

PCTurnkey,

The email address is not working, it's non existing one.

Hi,

Here is the method of recovering your lost password if you have a backup of your system:

Open the zipped backup with any archive manager like WinRar or WinZip.
Inside you will find a XML file with a lot of numbers in its name (ex: 1205674940Db.xml)
Open the XML with an editor like Notepad++ and search for "The admin ID".
You will find two XML parameters like this:

<Parameter>
<Value>gathor</Value>
<Type>Int32</Type>
<Description>The admin ID</Description>
<Name>WEBSERVERUSER</Name>
</Parameter>
<Parameter>
<Value>cleverpass</Value>
<Type>Int32</Type>
<Description>The admin pass</Description>
<Name>WEBSERVERPASS</Name>
</Parameter>

What you will find between <Value> and </Value> are the username and password for logging in to management console.
In this example Username is "gathor" and Password is "cleverpass"
