Hello,
3cx newbie here. Hoping to get some basic understanding of how trunks and dids work. I have a working setup on the cloud using Callcentric sip trunk and a telephone number (DID). I need to have a second telephone number with calls coming through the first number going to some of the office staff via Digital Receptionist (this is done and working great) and the calls from the second telephone number going to other staff members in the office. So, I guess my question is, can there be 2 telephone numbers on the same sip trunk. Then have separate inbound rules for each one to send the caller to the correct Digital Receptionist? It boils down to having 2 companies in the same small office that want to retain their own phone numbers that they have had for decades. If anyone can give me some guidance as to the best practices way of doing this I would be grateful.
Thanks,
Bill
