Im trying the new 2.2.0 rc3 Beta release but i seem ta have a problem when i go to setup the asteris SIP Settings... its telling me that the auto detect has failed so i try setting it manually and its still not working so basically all my external extension are not registering and in turn not working... All my ports are opened as im replacing the old pbx i had located here with the new one... am i the only one having this issue???

This is whats happening..... Please help im pulling my hair... :(

Hi

You talk about NAT informations?

All seems works from my side. :huh:

into sip_general_additional.conf:
nat=yes
externip=my-public-ip
localnet=193.107.20.0/255.255.255.0

and the values are into asterisk : sip show settings
Code:
Network Settings:
---------------------------
  SIP address remapping: Enabled using externaddr
  Externhost:             <none>
  Externaddr:             my-public-ip:0
  Externrefresh:          10
  Localnet:               193.107.20.0/255.255.255.0

All working from this side also on 2.2rc3.

No issues with autodetection....

Can you provide any more information about your system??

Did you perform and Freepbx upgrades, any yum upgrades??

Are you running the system behind a router??

Can you ping 8.8.8.8 from the Linux prompt??

Can you ping www.google.com from the Linux prompt??

Regards
Bob

danard i set it up manually when the aut dtect failed... i even went as far as to create it manually in the command prompt and still nothing -___-

ok Danard i got the same thing you got on the asterisk and im still not able to connect from outside... any ideas???

For resume!
you can ping to an external ip address - ok!
you cannot ping to an external host name - ok!

It's a DNS issue!!!

Maybe a routing problem, or else.
Try to setting a good DNS server, (internal, or external).
Try to ping them before.

Until your LAN will not be clean you cannot be able to connect any extension from WAN.

Thank you Danard i set the DNS and its working excellently now thank you very much for your help
