my 3cx is disconct when i call nubmer with *

*1 corresponds to an internal dial code, specifically the pickup of a parked call. So when dialing *1XX the system will look for a parked call and try to pick that up.

I would not recommend messing with the dial codes so you could try to dial something else and strip it at the outbound rules and then prepend the *166.

For example you could dial 5555 (make sure that does not correspond to a PBX extension) and have your outbound rule strip 4 digits and prepend *1666.

Try it and let us know if that works for you

This does indeed exist in the specific country, but from what we can tell it is limited to a small set of numbers and services - that can also be network dependent.

As mentioned by Yiannis, on the PBX level the way to handle would be to use some other digit and replace it with the * in an outbound rule. Although no longer needed generally, a dial 9 for an outside line type scenario could be used.

@marlen1 , you would also need to check with your Trunk provider if/how these numbers are handled by them.

As @KyriacosS_3CX already said with the outgoing rules on your pbx. Prefix 9, strip the 9.

I am not sure i understand you correctly... Your provider said you have to dial *=1222? "=" isnt a symbol that you can dial anywhere...
