Hosted 3CX Setup in azure with Yealink Handsets

Hi,
currently I have PBXExpress setup in Azure as a virtual machine and I am struggling to provision my Yealink T22 phone.

I have read online some people setting this up using "SBC" so basically having a physical device on site such as a small PC/NUK which is used to connect to 3CX in the cloud.

Is there anyway I can set up my Yealink phone without an "SBC" or using "STUN".

I have setup services such as Voipfone on the Yealink and all I have had to do is add the sip server and credentials for the account and the handset connects straight away without any firewall configuration etc.

Does 3CX have such a service or can someone point me in the right direction?

Basically I want to know if I can connect my Yealink phone to PBXExpress without Stun or SBC and if so how.

if you do not want to use stun or sbc , the only option is to create a site to site vpn between the phone network and Azure. This allows you to setup the phones as local lan.

Thanks for the reply.

VPN would be an option.

Its not that I dont want to use SBC or STUN its just other service providers such as Voipfone allow me to connect to their service without any additional kit or config on the router and I wanted to know if there is a way to do this with 3CX.

How many phones do you intent installing ?

stun is ok for 1-4 phones, yes you have to make firewall changes but you only have to do this once.

Depending on the amount of phones, you could use SBC on a raspberry pi - again you need allow certain ports out from the SBC firewall (again only once)

@Chetan Varma as cobaltit mentioned, please read the information in that link. The T22 has limitations and does not support SSL Transport and Ciphers

in the remote side only outbound traffic needs to be allowed to port 5090 (tcp&udp) and for the phones to reach the https port of the pbx (443 in pbxexpress or 5001 optional in manual installs)
