Solved Hosted by 3CX and Dect Support

Hello,

I am looking into a wireless phone solution for a grocery store. DECT is a great fit as it removes the distance limitations of dongles and married cordless handsets. I do not see mention of DECT solutions being or not being supported via Hosted by 3CX. This is generally a good indicator that it is not. Almost all DECT documentation seems to be related to either self-hosted or on prem.

Hopefully I missed the solution?

If you navigate to your Management console / Advanced / FXS/DECT you can see which ones are supported from the drop down list. Almost all SBC capable phones are supported for Hosted by 3CX. https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/

Depending on your requirements, you might consider using a standard DECT set (that you may already be familiar with), connected to a supported ATA..
