Hosted Instance

Hi,

I have stopped the dedicated hosted instance 4SC from the partner portal for a while. But i need to start the instance again
Now when i tried to on the instance but it shows the some error.
If my instance is remaining stop then FQDN releasing within 10 days and i have to active my instance
I have attached the snapshot for reference

How should i resolve this issue?

Hello @DivyaP,

Based on your attachments and the status of your License Key it seems that your free Hosting period with 3CX has expired.
In order to keep hosting your Instance with 3CX you need to upgrade your Key and add Hosting with 3CX. (You can do this from your 3CX Portal).

From partner portal it shows the License will be Expire in Feb 2023, Will I have to buy 4SC license key?

Because i couldn't be able to access management console so I couldn't take back up the current setup

How can i retain the same FQDN? also, how can i know about free hosting time period?

( From above attachment, I have free hosted the Instance with 4 SC is Feb, 2022)

This is the License Key expiration date.

Please note that there are two expiration dates:
1. One is affecting the License Key, (which when it expires and in the case of o paid Key it transforms to a trial 4SC Key).

From the 3CX Portal if you click renew on a specific key you can see the remaining Hosting time:




2. The other one is affecting the Hosted with 3CX free time (which when it expires you need to upgrade your key and add Hosting with 3CX in case you want to keep your instance Hosted with 3CX).

Since the free Hosting time has expired the machine is parked/shutdown - This is the reason you don't have access.
Regarding Backups: We always advise our clients/partners to keep their own backups in case something like this happens.

If an FQDN is released from an account it cannot be guaranteed that it will be available again (Please check the below guide):

Free Hosting Period is now 2 Months and this is in case that the machine remains active (5 calls/chats per week).

Where i need to renew the hosting subscription? as per your attachments i didn't see anything from my partner portal

@DivyaP are you the owner of the key or is the key assigned to you ?
Because if not then you wont see it.
You need to contact the owner of this key and click the Renew Button

I'm not the owner of the key and also i have hosted the free 4SC hosted Instance since last February 2022 only.

As of my knowledge for first year is free for hosting instance in 3cx right. Also, i have remaining 3 months

Could you guide me?

@DivyaP you have the previous offer which was for a year. Now as long as you use it then you will have no issues until your hosting expires.
For the key you have the issue, ensure to contact the owner and perform the Renew.
Since you previously logged in to the portal, do the same this time and upgrade the key.
