I have a system with 3CX version 20 the latest.
We are using Telnyx as the trunk provider.
I'm trying to test the Hot Desking feature, but it keeps saying Reason: Block WAN requests is ON.
I'm using Yealink T43U phones and connecting them via SBC. I know I shouldn't get the block WAN but I am.

Any idea anyone?

Hi there.
So your SBC and your hot-desking phone is in the same local network and are able to communicate to each other via local IP address?

Are you using an outside of RFC local subnet?

Hi

Yes, they are on the same network.
I can ping from the phone to the SBC and from the SBC to the phone.
I also tried configuring it as a regular phone and could do so.

Looks like the phone tries to register directly, bypassing the SBC. If you open the phone's Web console, does it have correct proxy specified pointing to the address of your SBC?

Make sure the phone isnt set up against an extension and then add it under the hotdesk tab in phones.

Update.

I was able to register the phone for Hot Desking via SBC. It seems the endpoint protection blocked it.
Now, when it's logged in and I call *77*[EXT]* I don't hear any prompt.
I checked that voicemail is enabled.
Any ideas?

Voicemail has nothing to do with it, the user EXT needs to have "Enable Hotdesking" in his Options.
Anyway, you should hear "Access denied" if it is not so.
