Hello guys,

One of our 3CX instanced reported 'running out of space' alert today. So we checked it and discovered that the culprit is the call recordings folder. In order to shrink it up we changed 'automatically delete all recordings older than' option from 180 to 150 days, but 20+ minutes later nothing seems to have changed - the free space disk percentage appears the same like before.

So the question is, how the call recordings automatic deletion works? Is it being run by sort of schedule? Is there a way to trigger it via CLI?

Thank you in advance for response!

Hi @Leo_B,

So the question is, how the call recordings automatic deletion works?

It will run once every 24hrs.

Is there a way to trigger it via CLI?

There is no supported way to force it. If you need an instant solution, you can archive the recordings which will allow you to move them instantly, by enabling remote archiving then selecting the recordings and clicking Archive.
