How can I change call recordings file name format?

Hi,

We have a problem with backing up our call recordings because the characters "[" and "]" which are present in the default file name format ([<name>]_<ext>-<phone_nr>_<timestamp>(<uid>).wav)
are not supported by our backup tool. Is there a way to change the default recordings' filename format? I already looked at the the parameters but did not find any for this.

There is no way to change the file name format.

No, but...

You could use the 3CX backup tool to create a zip backup of your 3CX install and put that zip in a folder that gets backed up by your tool. Then exclude from backup the 3CX path where the recordings are stored in their unzipped format.

Because those audio files are encapsulated in a zip file it should work around your problem.

I wouldn't be too impressed with a backup solution that can't handle any legal filename though...
