Solved How to make Ad-Hoc conferences with 3 parties

Hello,

From old PBXs I am used to making 3party conferences, ad-hoc (that used to be a standard).
So like I have one person on line 1 and another on line 2 (on hold) and then I decide to hook them all together with me.

Accoding to yealink (we use T58V) this must be a feature of the sip server according to RFC4579.

Does anyone know how to do this?

You can do this directly from the phone as Yealink devices support 3 party conferences. While you are on a call just put the person on hold and call the second party. Once both parties are on the line press the conference button and select the line of the original caller. All 3 parties should now be in a conference call

That does not work. When I do have both parties and I press the conference button it asks me to dial another number. When I dont do that, the conference button disappears.
It seems that it only works, when you plan to make a conference before you dial.

It should give the option to select a line with an already established call. When you have the second person on the line and you click conference the phone should present the dial pad to dial another number and on the left of the dial pad it should the person currently on hold. If you click on that the the conference should be established.

OK, got it.
But it seems wired, that when I have 2 calls on hold, then the conference button is not there.
Only when you have at lease one call on line, then the option is presentet.
