I've searched everywhere and can't find the way. There are switchboards that have a "Terminal" button in "PBX Status" there you write "reebot". But if that button is not, where does it restart? Is that button somewhere else? I have seen that there are people who connect by ssh, how do you do ???

do you mean Dashboard from Management console ?

If you use a debian version, Yes you have terminal button here

Exactly, that button doesn't appear to me

Are you Debian or Windows?

By switchboard, do you mean your 3CX server?

The Debian-based ones have a terminal. The windows ones don't. For those you will have to remote into them and reboot them manually. If you wish to be able to reboot all of them, you will need to redeploy them in Debian using a backup. You can then manage them remotely using the instance manager which is a very useful tool in case you have more than a couple of servers.

By the way, is this a free instance hosted by us or your privately hosted server?

It is a private server. And, honestly, I don't know if it's debian or windows

Is it local on premise or hosted Cloud?

If you have no terminal button then it should be a windows version as you host on your own server, so for windows you need to reboot windows, there's nothing to be done from MC

Ah it is very likely a Windows based installation then. If this feature is important to you then I would suggest to migrate the install to Debian when you can. The additional benefit is that this will free up more ram and disk space since it is a lighter OS purposely customized just for the PBX.

what happens to me is:
When I call a mobile number, 6xx xx xx xx, they hear me cut off (syllables are omitted from words). But I listen perfectly. I want to restart the control panel to see if this is solved.

Now I don't know if it's hosted in the cloud or local.

Is it an installation you just discover?

So are you on same location as PBX?

customer doesn't know if it's a windows on premise PBX or cloud ?

Are you fresh new on 3CX ?

I am new to 3cx. My client does not know where it is hosted. and my partner, administrator of the switchboard, is not right now.

Ok Sara, will be difficult to progress if you have no reliable info.

Are you on customer Location ? is it a big install or small one? is it easy for you to check if there's a rack with IT devices .

It looks like we are quite blind here.

What is the average value for CPU and RAM in the Dashboard? Are those values rising during the call?
If yes, could be a transcoding issue.
What is the priority list of codec for your extension? And for the SIP Trunk?

I would like to ask about your internet bandwidth, but since we don't know where the PBX is hosted, that makes no sense...

Let's see. Is all this information necessary to restart the switchboard? I just want to know that.

You can restart the Services.
