Hi,
can someone point me to some documentation on how to setup an IP phone at a remote location? I have a 3CX version 16 system running on a server in my office that we host ourselves. I'd like to get an IP phone setup at some of our employees homes. I would need to purchase the proper phones and learn how to configure this setup. I can't seem to find this information on the 3CX site. I'm sure I'm not looking in the right place. Can anyone help?
thanks
Chris

For home users you can easily use App on smartphones or Webclient or windows client with no pain

Most of our users have just used the 3cx app on their cell phone. Not for sure on how many actually use the web client. Some use the windows client.

I did just recently had the thought about trying to see if i could get an IP configured for home use, and it ended up pretty easy to do. We are using Yealink phones, so i provisioned a new phone using my extension here in the office, and under the phone provisioning, i selected Direct-SIP (STUN Remote) as the method to provision. Then selected my options.

Make sure you take a power cable with you to test. I took it home to test, and did not have power to the phone. I realized i didn't have POE, so had to drive back to work to get power cable. :) :) Once i solved that issue, the phone worked very nicely.
